An invitation to the Tokyo photo community and friends!

The next viewing of the Tokyo Photo Night series, a community slide show event featuring top photographic talent from Japan and abroad, will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2003, from 8:00 p.m. at the seminar hall of eWoman
Inc. in Omotesando. This time TPN is pleased to be showing the work of:

Stuart Isett
Isett is an American freelance photographer who's been based in Asia since
1994. Moving to Tokyo in 1997, he's been a regular contributing photographer to the New York Times and Time Magazine, covering news, features and events in Japan. His work also regularly appears in Newsweek, Fortune, Business Week as well as European and Asian publications. In Japan his work has appeared in AERA, sekai magazines, and the Mainichi Shimbun.

Isett received a Masters Degree in Photography from Columbia College in Chicago in 1994 where he worked on an extensive project on Cambodian street gangs in the United States. In addition to his assignment work, today Isett continues to work on his own documentary projects in Asia and has recently completed a book project on Kyoto titled 'Kyotoland'. He is represented by the New York based photo agency Polaris Images.
